How to download xHamster videos on any device

Save a video in four steps

Open the video on xHamster and copy its address from the address bar, or use the site’s Share option. The link looks like xhamster.com/videos/…. Mirror domains such as xhamster.desi work too.
Open the xHamster Downloader and paste the link. On a computer you can press Ctrl+V (⌘V on Mac) anywhere on the page.
Press Get video. ClipMule shows the video’s length, a blurred preview and the qualities available.
Press the quality you want. Keep the page open while the progress counts up; your browser then shows its normal save prompt or saves to Downloads.

Which quality should you pick?

The top button is the best quality xHamster streams for that video, often 1080p. Smaller options such as 720p and 480p appear when the video has them. Sizes are estimates worked out from the stream, so the saved file can be a little bigger or smaller.

On a phone, a full-length video in 1080p can be several hundred MB, and the browser holds it in memory while it saves. If a big download fails on your phone, 720p or 480p usually works and still looks sharp on a phone screen.

Computer: your Downloads folder, unless your browser asks where to save.

The file is named after the video’s title, so it’s easy to find.

If it doesn’t work

“That link isn’t supported”: copy the address of the video page itself, not a profile, channel, playlist or search page.
“That video doesn’t exist or has been removed”: the video has gone from xHamster, or it’s private.
The download stops part-way: check your connection and free storage, then try a smaller quality.
